We, at Indradhanush, have utmost faith in each child’s absolute potential. Each kid is amazing & can be a leader. We believe that each kid must be given a structure of his/her own choice of learning. The environment of learning must be encouraging, patient & emphatically joyful.

Well, this wasn’t clear to us until we were hit hard as a parent when we saw our own children were not quite progressing even they were going to the best available schools in Bangalore. Our children started off very well in early schooling but later on got terrified of the same school (a franchisee of leading pre-school in India). Later, we took them to another most reputed school in Bangalore but got same sort of complaints & suggestions, summarising our kids were not concentrating and needed special attention at home. We also tried Abacus classes but the problem aggravated. We, then, started researching about the reasons behind & the most alarming reasons we found, are:

  1. Teaching is standard & not flexible as per the student’s interest and pace.
  2. Teaching aids are limited and repetitive. No new innovations in this area.
  3. Smart classes are limited to projectors only.
  4. Music and dance are limited to rhymes and no professional training.
  5. Children are vulnerable but still no teaching on self defence or how to handle unwanted situations like bullying or abusing.
  6. Parents and grand parents’ roles are limited to Parent -Teacher Meetings or Annual functions only.
  7. No creativity on the part of making new stories or rhymes & encouraging the kids to do so.
  8. Class layout is still the same as it was 200 years ago, so a child sitting in the last row would be perceived as a stupid or lazy student.
  9. Teaching is limited to pressurise the children to memorise the subject but no teaching on how to learn & utilise the knowledge.
  10. No emphasis and motivation on framing questions, enquiring & analysing.

Likewise there are many other aspects & all of them gave an opportunity to find a new methodology. That’s how iExcel came into existence, which is unique & answers all the grey areas of teaching. Therefore, we recognise ‘iExcel’ as the most rewarding & revolutionary child education program.

That is very vital as it is a proven fact that each child has his/her own pace of learning & may require different methods/activities to learn. Like a doctor … each patient is different… & so is the treatment… So we have innovated our own methodology which we proudly call … iExcel. We keep an eagle’s eye on the new developments happening in kindergarten education & best practices being practised across the global in pre-schooling. Therefore, we have assimilated the best in the world, using the cutting edge technology like Virtual/Augmented reality.

Flexible & customised curriculum:

Yes, we don’t believe in rigid curriculum. We customise our curriculum according to each student & keep on working on each of our students, until they come to a desired level of knowledge. In other words, if one method or activity doesn’t bring the desired result in a student, we bring another until the student doesn’t get the knowledge. This is easier said than done as we know, we need to burn midnight oil to innovate different methods & to plan accordingly for each student’s comprehensive development.
